On Google we normally advertise based on a search term. With the remarketing technique our innovation team tested, it is possible to advertise based on if someone visited your website. This is a typical example of remarketing: to approach someone that showed interest in your club, for example by visiting one of your club-webpages, at a different time with a different message. That way you'll never 'lose' the people that showed interest in your club.
Someone that visited your website is now a bit more familiar with you. That's something we keep in mind when creating these specific Google Ads for our clients. It asks for a different approach than the other Google ads. By creating specific ads that are more relevant to this target group, people are more likely to click. Tests with 10 clients show an increase in clicks between 50.9% and 80.8%! And also this:
Costs Per Click - CPC: 77,1% lower (average)
Costs Per Action - CPA: 19,5% lower (average)
So the costs got lower and the clicks went up! And more clicks usually means more leads. But that of course depends on the quality of your landing page.
To be able to use this technique, you need a club-website and a reach of approximately 1500 website visitors a month.
